In the eleventh episode of Series 3, Clint Boon chats to 95 year old former Royal Marine Commando and D Day veteran, George Simms.
George talks to Clint about growing up in Ardwick in the 1920s, training as a Butcher before enlisting in the army at age 18, fighting in the Second World War on D-Day, serving in the Stockport Fire Service for 30 years, telling his story to school children and why he is still proud to be a Mancunian.
