Radio X 90s Is Coming

Get into the 90s as XS Manchester relaunches as Radio X 90s on 24 February, 2025.

Radio X 90s plays the biggest anthems from the decade where the music of Manchester defined a generation.

Radio X 90s is a station dedicated to 90s anthems from the likes of Oasis, Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, R.E.M., Pulp, Radiohead, Supergrass, Stereophonics and many, many more.

With the highly anticipated Oasis reunion tour this year, the launch of Radio X 90s in Manchester couldn’t come at a better time, bringing the legendary sounds of Britpop and more to the city that helped shape the 90s music scene.

Radio X 90s was launched in September 2024 as a spin-off station to Radio X, the UK’s leading radio station for rock and alternative music.

Radio X 90s will be available on 106.1FM and on DAB in Manchester, and is already available across the UK on Global Player via app, globalplayer.com, on smart speakers by saying “play Radio X 90s”, and at radiox.co.uk.
